SCIENCE – CONTEMPORARY

We must distinguish between contemporary science and what science ought to be ideally. Contemporary science aka as scientism, is a science format limited by the philosophies of materialism and empiriscism. It is extremely handicapped by a methodical and stubborn refusal of the majority of modern scientists to recognize unobservables as real existents.

What this leads to has been pointed out by many, for example here:

“…while Biology studies life, and even has sub categories explicitly so named such as ‘Life Sciences’, it doesn’t really study Life. They so claim, but the view of Biology is all about the ‘biology as mechanism’, or ‘biology as (measurable) process’. Nowhere in the texts do we find any analysis of Life, What is it? That sort of thing. Mostly just numbers, reporting on someone’s measurement of some ‘thing’.  We are Life in Universe, and in spite of understanding that Life is integral to Universe, and is as perpetual, and as infinite, as is Universe, our Science was captured in Newton’s day, and fell to the onslaught of the Raving Reductionists, to the point that our ‘life’ sciences study the universe without admitting the possibility of Life as a key, and necessary component. SCIENCE – TRUE SCIENCE

Science ideally consists of forming conceptual and mathematical information systems of comprehension of different aspects of reality. Sciences are systematic conceptualizations. True science aims at full understanding, discovering the reasons and causes. It aims at full explanation of phenomena, not merely describing them by fitting mathematical constructs to the observations, whether they make sense or not, which is the current practice.

SCIENCE – SENIOR SCIENCE

The senior science aka as the Queen of Sciences is of course mathematics, without which physics would be nothing worthwhile.

SCIENCE – NECESSARY

A necessary duty of science would be to study the nature and qualities of scientists, science and scientific knowledge itself as part of life. This would be an interdisciplinary study of the whole process of science including its social networks, strategies, policies, beliefs, financing and methods of gaining knowledge and methods of suppression of knowledge

SCIENTOLOGY

According to Dr. A. Nordenholz, Scientology is the science of the character and soundness of knowing and knowledge.

According to L.R. Hubbard it was the science of knowing how to know further defined as the study and handling of the spirit in relationship to itself, universes and other life.

The obvious meaning of the word is the science studying knowledge and science in general.

Scientology sounds a lot better than epistemology and would have been the word of choice if it had not been contaminated by a cult.

The word Scientology was first used in a scientific context in 1871, by Stephen Pearl Andrews and should never have been trademarked.
